WHO WE ARE

Infamous Aero is a Calgary-based automotive design and manufacturing company founded by Jesse in March 2020.

The company started with a simple problem: Jesse wanted aero for his own car, but couldn't afford the options available at the time. So he started making it himself in his home garage.

What started as a way to build his own car quickly turned into something bigger. The more he looked at the aftermarket, the more obvious the gap became. A lot of the available aero felt generic, with similar designs being repeated across different cars and very little consideration for how the shapes worked with the original lines of the vehicle. Infamous Aero was created to approach things differently.

The inspiration came heavily from 90s Japanese automotive design - cars and brands that managed to combine functionality with a strong sense of character. That same approach became the foundation for Infamous: create parts that complement the car, have their own identity, and give people another way to build something that feels like their own.

WHERE DID THE NAME INFAMOUS COME FROM?

To be infamous is to stand out. Sometimes for the right reasons, sometimes for the wrong ones. Infamous is about displaying who you are through your car - not everyone is going to like it, and that's the point.

A car built around personal taste isn't supposed to appeal to everyone. Infamous exists for the people who want their car to represent themselves, who are willing to take a different direction and who don't mind standing out from the crowd.

This is where our slogan, "Expression of the mind through aero design" came from.

EARLY BEGINNINGS

Infamous started in Jesse's home garage in Calgary with hand-cut ABS aero.

Every part was made individually, with a small team working around a single idea: make something that looked good, fit properly and could actually hold up to being used.

Within a few months, the team had grown and Infamous moved into its first shop.

The original ABS aero was always intended to be a starting point. The long-term goal was to develop widebody kits and fiberglass parts, which meant building the skills and equipment to design them properly.

Over the following years, Infamous expanded its capabilities with 3D scanning, 3D printing, composite fabrication and in-house product development. The company eventually developed its Indestructible Aero lineup and began producing its own widebody kits and larger composite parts.

Today, Infamous designs and manufactures 90s-inspired automotive parts in Calgary and ships them to customers around the world.

The company has grown considerably since those first parts were being cut in a garage, but the reason behind it remains simple: make the kind of parts the team would want on their own cars.

Every product carries the Infamous name, and that comes with a certain standard. The goal is to make parts that the team would genuinely be proud to put on their own cars.

ORIGINALITY

Infamous was built because the aftermarket needed more variety. Design is a huge part of that. The team wants to create parts with their own identity while still respecting the lines and character of the vehicle they're designed for.

MADE IN CANADA

Infamous designs and manufactures its products in Calgary. Keeping production local gives the team direct control over the process and allows new ideas to be developed and tested in-house.

CARS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN

At its core, the automotive aftermarket exists because people care about cars.

That passion is what started Infamous and it's still what drives the company today. The team builds their own cars, follows the same culture as its customers and genuinely enjoys the process of creating something new.

JESSE

Founder / Operations

Jesse founded Infamous Aero in 2020 and oversees the day-to-day operation of the company, including shipping, logistics and social media.

He drives a 1993 Toyota Supra.

JASON

Co-Owner / Head of Composites & Customs

Jason oversees composites and custom work and plays a major role in the development and fabrication of Infamous' larger projects.

He owns too many cars to count.

TAYLOR

Co-Owner / Accounting

Taylor keeps track of the numbers and makes sure the rest of the team doesn't completely lose track of where the money went.

He drives a 2003 Fairlady Z.

NICK

Shop Foreman / Custom Autobody Technician

Nick keeps the shop running and brings his experience as a Red Seal body technician to Infamous' custom and fabrication work.

He drives a 1997 Toyota Hilux Surf.

SEB

Lead Composite Specialist

Seb specializes in composite fabrication and is a key part of the team behind Infamous' fiberglass and composite products.

He drives a 2008 Volkswagen Scirocco.

BRADEN

Lead Product Designer

Braden leads product design and development, turning concepts into the parts that eventually make their way onto customers' cars.

He drives a 2013 Subaru WRX STI.
